One thing I found funny was when Converse All Stars suddenly became something people were wearing to be fashionable. I always associated them with being 16 and having a massive hate for trainers then discovering Converse. I only have one pair and they’re pink high-tops (which is usually a colour I’m pretty against), very faded and kind of grubby. I’m not one of those people who like scruffy shoes, I do like keeping them clean but haven’t really managed it. I wore them to go shopping in for the first time in forever and they were so comfy.
The sports luxe trend is definitely a strange one. I love some aspects of it but I think a lot of it’s a bit weird. I’ll be writing more about this trend sometime this week. I teamed my Converse with a striped Primark vest, pale-wash jeggings from Topshop and bright blue boyish jacket from H&M which is one of those items that’s hard to add to an outfit: had it for years and worn it about 5 times but love it too much to part with it. I’m now on the lookout for some normal white ones which I am determined to keep white!
